The History of WFDC
WFDC has been diving for over 24 years - and Anita and I have been involved for the last 10ish years. In that time we have traveled around the South of England watching our kids throw themselves off the boards. Neither now dives competitively, although one is coaching.
We have seen many hundreds of kids come and go from the club - and each year we say we're going to let others take over the main running of the club - and each year.......
Recorders
We desperately need recorders - as was proved during the Internal competition last October. If you are interested please put your name forward to Bill or Anita. It is not that difficult - can't be if Gordon can do it!
Asa awards
All our divers work towards the ASA badge scheme during the year and are assessed on a regular basis.
Swim 21 Accreditation
WFDC is actively seeking Swim 21 accreditation which is necessary due to our affiliation to the Amateur Swimming Association. We are currently building, or reviewing the documentation that we have to have.
