Welcome to the official home page of WFDC - Waltham Forest Diving Club - the home of springboard and high board diving in Waltham Forest.
Waltham Forest Diving Club is based at Walthamstow Pool and Track, Chingford Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 5AA.
We can offer coaching for divers* of all abilities on two nights - Tuesdays 5-7 and Thursdays 6-8. We are also offering dry-land training on Wednesday nights to help improve the diver's posture etc. * currently our membership is aimed at children, although we are beginning to relax this. The only requirement we have is that the prospective diver can swim 4 widths of the pool competently, with 2 widths for 7-8 year olds.
We have a waiting list of people wishing to join the club - to join our waiting list click here and include the name of the child, date of birth, address and telephone details in the email.
The club is run by a voluntary committee. CRB checks are undertaken on all officers and coaches in the club.
We are currently working with the ASA badge scheme - the divers are assessed as to their abilities on a regular basis.
