Welcome to the official home page of WFDC - Waltham Forest Diving Club - the home of springboard and high board diving in Waltham Forest.
Waltham Forest Diving Club is based at Walthamstow Pool and Track, Chingford Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 5AA.
We can offer coaching for divers* of all abilities on two nights - Tuesdays 5-7 and Thursdays 6-8. We are also offering dry-land training on Wednesday nights to help improve the diver's posture etc. * currently our membership is aimed at children from the age of 7.. The only requirement we have is that the prospective diver can swim 4 widths of the pool competently, with 2 widths for 7-8 year olds.
We have a waiting list of people wishing to join the club - to join our waiting list click here and include the name of the child, date of birth, address and telephone details in the email.
The club is run by a voluntary committee. CRB checks are undertaken on all officers and coaches in the club.
We are currently working with the ASA badge scheme - the divers are assessed as to their abilities on a regular basis.
Will divers please ensure that they review the important rules and notes on a regular basis......

Spring Term 2012
Spring Term starts on Tuesday January 10th / Thursday January 12th 2012. Fees MUST be paid before your child attends the first session! Please see our fees page for details

Recent Results
April 31st 2011 - Adam, Lauren and Milly dived at Sheffield in the ASA National Skills finals. Marianne was unable to attend. All 3 had a great weekend away. Adam came 5th in his group of 18. Lauren came 26th and Milly 33rd (out of 54) in their group.
March 6th 2011 - well done to Adam, Lauren, Marianne and Milly who qualified for the ASA National Skills finals held at Sheffield on April 31st 2011. Adam & Milly came 2nd (silver medalists) in their age groups. Lauren and Marianne qualified on points.
Safety Rules Updated
The Committee released a new version of the club safety rules on 8th Dec 2010.
Swim 21 Status
WFDC has achieved Swim 21 accreditation - the ISO of swimming and diving - well done to all involved!
